Three-phase oil railway transformers TMŻG with capacities from 25 to 1000 kVA for rated voltage of the primary windings 27.5 kV designed for electrical supply of rail traction
To increase the cooling surface of transformers TMGŻ 25 – 1000 kVA with the conservator corrugated walls are mounted.
Voltage regulation is made by tap changer after disconnection transformer from the HV and LV supply.
The voltage is adjustable on the HV side by value ± 2×2.5% of the nominal value.
Railway transformers are manufactured for rated voltage of the primary windings 27.5 kV. Rated voltage of the secondary windings is 0.4 kV. Scheme and connection group of windings is Yyn-0
Design features
Oil railway transformers TMŻG are manufactured with hermetical construction of the tank, so the oil has no contact with environment. Hermetic transformers are completely filled with transformer oil.
Conservator and air or gas “cushion” does not occur.
Changing the oil volume caused by a change of its temperature is compensated by the deformation of the corrugated tank.
The oil has no contact with the environment at all.
Thus, the working conditions of oil are significantly improved by eliminating moisture and oxidation.
Transformers TMŻG practically does not require any cost to run and maintain during operation. It does not need preventive maintenance and control throughout the lifecycle.
For the control of filling the tanks with oil transformers TMŻG are equipped with oil level indicator located on the cover.
For measuring the temperature of the upper layer of oil in the tank is installed the thermometer.
